MODEL DESCRIPTION
Every noble in the Trolloth's strict feudal system has a loyal Duskborn Chieftain who organizes the building of defenses, levies and trains the militia and leads the professional soldiers during battle.
War between nobles is common, and the Duskborn Chieftains of deposed nobles often end up becoming mercenary captains, gathering to them a warband of freebooting Troglodytes.
The Trolloth prefer weapons and armor of iron, and such leaders are normally clad in 100-130 lbs (60-70 kilos) of armor, and wield a pair of heavy morning-stars. Due to their size and the density of their muscles, a Duskborn Chieftain is still able to move around quite freely with such an encumbrance.
Having plundered many defeated enemies, Duskborn Chieftains have naturally acquired enchanted weapons, armor and magical artifacts.
The combination of skill, armor, power and survivability of such individuals makes them a horror to behold on the battlefield, and they are easily capable of executing entire enemy units with brutal efficiency.
In addition to his combat prowess, the Duskborn Chieftain has three tactics he can order to troops, making him an all-rounder type of Warlord.

MODEL DESCRIPTION
When the Black Maw consumed the Red Sun, the reality membrane between the Material and Shadow Planes burst, ripping open great gashes in the sky, and gloom spewed forth across the six worlds carrying within it denizens of Shadow. Some of the mightiest of these beings were accounted powerful lords in their native realm, and are today known to Mortals as Obsidian Nightmares.
Beneath the long dark robes and armor of iron they appear as nebulous shadows of humanoid shape. By their very nature, they exist in two worlds. Their shadowy nature renders them ethereal, and so they suffer only half damage from mundane weapons. Additionally, by gathering his ethereal tendrils about him, the Obsidian Nightmare is able to concentrate his essence, binding his wounds. Consequently the Obsidian Nightmare is a fiendishly challenging enemy to slay.
In battle they are terrifying masters of malice, possessing great size and wielding a massive two-handed flail which can crush a man even wearing thick armor.
To add yet further horror, the Nightmare is also a competent spellcaster, and can cast even when engaged in battle. He is also able to support his warband with a tactic giving himself and other models the Concealment ability.
The Obsidian Nightmare performs best as a spell-casting and support warlord, and he is also very effective in melee against standard troops, but he should be protected from enemy warlords and models with enchanted attacks (who ignore his ethereal ability).

MODEL DESCRIPTION
Each Gnoll warren is ruled by a Grondagh Filthling, who is the strongest and most cunning of the tribe, and usually possess an ego larger than their actual size warrants.
If the Filthling dies, his closest relative will seize power and becomes the new Filthling and so when a Filthling goes to battle, he will often take his closest relatives with him to prevent them stirring-up trouble back home. For this reason it is possible to field two Filthling warlords in a single warband!
Because of the cowardly and disorganized nature of Gnolls, Filthlings are often compelled to take part in every minor battle in order to organize and motivate their troops. In such cases they will equip themselves with the most enchanted sword in their horde as well as a bow and any potions or artifacts they can lay their hands on.
Filthlings then skulk around the battlefield, overseeing ambushes and surprise assaults. They are masters of subterfuge, benefitting from advanced deployment, concealment and the ability to move through difficult terrain. Here they can make use of their decent shooting skills.
This sneaky warlord can charge without the necessity of moving in a straight line and can enable troops to make a movement action before they charge, enabling many unexpected combats!
When all else fails, send this warlord on a suicide mission to kill some high-point characters, because you surely have a second Filthling still sneaking about the battlefield.
